This is a remarkable achievement, and it marks the biggest launch ever for an Xbox Game Studios title on Steam, surpassing even Halo Infinite, which reached 272,148 players. It’s important to note that Halo Infinite’s launch numbers were for its free-to-play multiplayer mode. The next most popular launch was Halo: The Master Chief Collection with 161,024 players, and Playground Games’ new game has far exceeded that number.

Reviews for The Mandalorian and Grogu are now available, and the show currently has a 61% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 77 reviews. This is one of the lowest scores for a Star Wars project, falling behind Solo: A Star Wars Story (69%) and Attack of the Clones (62%). Only The Phantom Menace (58%) and The Rise of Skywalker (51%) have received worse ratings among live-action Star Wars films.

I’m so excited to see Lauren Lapkus as Denise, Brian Posehn as Bert Kibbler, and John Ross Bowie as Barry Kripke joining the new project – they were all in the promo! I’m really hoping we’ll see at least a quick glimpse of the Pasadena gang, like Sheldon, Leonard, and Howard. The story has already found a way to include them, though it’s not confirmed if they’ll actually be in it. But beyond that, I think it would be amazing to see even more familiar faces from The Big Bang Theory make an appearance in Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, just for the fun of it or to help move the story along.

I was immediately struck by the beautiful art style of Ember and Blade, which reminded me of Hades. Like games from Supergiant Games, it really focuses on telling a story through its characters. The gameplay is similar to Vampire Survivors, but you can also feel the influence of Hades there too. After playing the demo, I’m really excited about this game and can’t wait for its release in Q3 2026—hopefully it comes out even sooner! Ember and Blade has a lot of potential, with great voice acting, a fantastic atmosphere, fun combat, and enough unique elements to make it feel fresh and original.

The anime Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will return for its third season this July. Crunchyroll highlights it as a major release for the summer. The premiere date in Japan has been set for July 5th. A new poster has also been revealed, giving fans a sneak peek at some of the new characters and storylines coming in the next arc. Paramount+’s streaming success has been complicated by an early mistake. When the hit show Yellowstone first launched in 2018, the rights to stream it were sold to a competitor, Peacock.
