The idea of playing as two different characters in a Resident Evil game isn’t new – players could choose between Chris and Jill in the original Resident Evil. However, Resident Evil Requiem does this better than any other game in the series. The different ways you play as each character really highlight their individual stories and motivations. This approach not only lets the game offer both scary, suspenseful moments and fast-paced action, but it also draws players deeper into the narrative.

It’s been over ten years since the last Scary Movie, which means a whole new wave of horror films are fair game for parody. Now that the trailer for Scary Movie 6 is out, we can see which recent movies the filmmakers are targeting. While the movie focuses mostly on films from the last three years, it’s clear the creators have been keeping up with the horror genre, and are choosing the films with the most comedic potential.

This trend is happening for a simple reason: games and other media that rely on familiar formulas tend to be commercially successful. When so much money—often hundreds of millions of dollars—is invested, studios are hesitant to take risks with completely new ideas. PlayStation is currently leading this approach.

Pokémon fans have discovered that a long-standing bug, often called the “roaring roar” bug, has finally been fixed. This bug affected players who chose Squirtle or Bulbasaur as their starter Pokémon. After beating the game, either Entei or Raikou would appear first. If these Pokémon used the move Roar during battle, the game incorrectly registered it as a knockout instead of them fleeing. This prevented players from ever catching either Pokémon, through no fault of their own.

The Punisher isn’t bound by rules against killing, making him a dangerous and effective fighter against both heroes and villains. Despite being ‘just’ a highly trained ex-soldier with weapons, he consistently surprises everyone by being more powerful than many of Marvel’s strongest characters.

Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen has brought Yuji and Megumi directly into the action. Yuji managed to connect with Hiromi Higuruma, one of the strongest players, very quickly. The last episode ended with a dramatic preview of their upcoming battle – Higuruma immediately activated his Domain Expansion! – and MAPPA has released a special poster for the fight, which you can see below, before the next episode airs.
