The Biggest Zombie Movie Ever Desperately Needs a Remake (And It Would Be Better)

An Oral History of the Zombie War” felt short-changed with the movie adaptation. Although the film was engaging and chilling, it strayed significantly from the original book to such an extent that even its author found reason to comment on the differences. With the increasing popularity of zombies in pop culture and renewed interest in “World War Z,” now would be an ideal time for a faithful depiction of Brooks’ novel on screen.

One of the Most Beloved TV Dramas of the 2000s Finally Returns to Streaming (And Fans Everywhere Are Thrilled)

Back in 2006, I was thrilled when Friday Night Lights graced our TV screens on NBC for the very first time, introducing Coach Taylor and his Panthers high school football team. This cherished television series from the last decade has now found its way onto Prime Video, starting on September 1st, making it accessible once again on a significant streaming platform – something that hasn’t happened in quite some time. Previously, it was only available for purchase online. Born from the creative mind of Peter Berg and inspired by H.G. Bissinger’s 1990 non-fiction novel Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream, this sports drama focuses on a fictional high school football team and its coach in the quaint, rural town of Dillon, Texas.

Bitcoin’s September Curse vs. Gold’s Glittering Win 💸

ETF flows are now red, with August sucking out $750 million – the second-worst month ever. Institutional buying, once the star of 2024-2025, is now slower than a snail on a treadmill. Traders are debating if Bitcoin needs to retest $100k or go all the way to $94k. Sounds like a game of Russian roulette with your savings. 🎲💸

Robin Wright Shares “Huge Regret” About Coparenting With Sean Penn

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say: Reflecting on my journey as a mother to Dylan Penn, age 34, and Hopper Penn, 33 – both wonderful souls I raised alongside my former spouse, Sean Penn – I find myself pondering one thing I might approach differently. It’s all about the lessons we pass down and how we grow together in our unique parent-child dynamic.

Oh, Darling! You Can Now Buy Mansions in the UAE with Crypto 🏠💎

Of course, they’ve thought of everything-because heaven forbid anyone should accuse them of being reckless. The fintech platform converts your cryptocurrency into good old-fashioned UAE dirhams before RAK Properties even sees a penny. Or rather, a fil. This clever little maneuver ensures that no one ends up holding bags of volatile digital assets-or worse, explaining blockchain to their accountant.

Avengers: Secret Wars Theory Predicts the End of the MCU (and It Makes Sense)

A user named Ozymandiiass on the Marvel Studios subreddit has proposed an intriguing fan theory about what could happen to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after “Avengers: Secret Wars.” Instead of a complete reboot of the MCU’s main timeline, this theory suggests that Doctor Doom from the MCU will recreate the events leading up to the “Secret Wars” comic book series. In these events, Doctor Doom would shatter the multiverse and reform it into a mosaic of regions called Battleworld. The subsequent phase of the MCU would then unfold, telling various stories set in different realms within this broken world.

Jujutsu Kaisen Creator Shares First Look at Their New Shonen Jump Series

The manga series “Jujutsu Kaisen” concluded in Shonen Jump magazine back in December, but its creator, Gege Akutami, has since been busy working on a new major project. Joining forces with the creator of “Cipher Academy,” Yuji Iwasaki, they are set to return to the magazine with the upcoming issue of Shonen Jump, which will be released next week. Their new series is called “Mojuro” (though its official English title has not been confirmed yet). Unlike “Jujutsu Kaisen”, this new series is expected to have a much more limited run. Check out the first sneak peek of Gege Akutami and Yuji Iwasaki’s new series, shared by Shueisha, below.
