Saros Does Something I Wish Returnal Did 5 Years Ago

Sony’s February 2026 State of Play gave viewers a look at gameplay for SAROS, a new game that shares a lot in common with Returnal. Like Returnal, SAROS features challenging enemies, intricate level design, and a roguelike structure where you improve your character with modifiers and perks after each attempt. However, SAROS expands on this formula with a much more open world – the world of Carcosa – allowing players to quickly travel to any unlocked area and offering more accessible replayability features than were available in Returnal.

6 MCU Villains Who Could’ve Defeated Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame

Throughout his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, particularly in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, we saw many heroes try to defeat Thanos, and some even managed to hurt him. The MCU has often shown us which heroes are strong enough to fight him, but it’s less common to consider who among the villains could actually stand up to Thanos. It’s a fun question to ponder, and while there aren’t many clear answers, we’ve identified a few villains who likely could have defeated him.

A Video Game Movie That Killed a Franchise is Making Its Way to Hulu

The sci-fi horror film Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will be available to stream on Hulu starting February 23rd. Released in theaters in 2021, the movie was intended as a fresh start for the Resident Evil film series, which previously had six live-action movies. Starring Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, and Robbie Amell, Welcome to Raccoon City didn’t do well with audiences or critics, and a planned sequel was cancelled. This has led to yet another reboot of the film series, expected to be released in theaters later this year.

Director of A Cult ’90s Sci-Fi Admits He Ripped Off Alien

Director Renny Harlin has admitted that his 90s sci-fi film, Deep Blue Sea, borrowed a key plot point from Alien. In an interview with Empire magazine, Harlin explained that he replicated a shocking death scene similar to the one involving Tom Skerritt’s character in Alien. Harlin wanted to create the same feeling of surprise and uncertainty for the audience – the expectation that the captain (Skerritt) would be a central character, only to have him unexpectedly killed off, establishing that no one was safe in the film.

Star Wars Already Spoiled The Ending of The Mandalorian and Grogu

As a huge Star Wars fan, I’ve always noticed how the first set of films really built on the foundation laid by A New Hope. The Force Awakens felt incredibly similar, almost a retelling, and the spin-off movies like Rogue One and Solo gave us great details about characters and how the Rebellion got the plans for the Death Star. So it’s really exciting to me that the newest films are tackling what most fans consider the peak of the original trilogy – everyone agrees The Empire Strikes Back is the best, and it makes total sense to revisit that territory!
