When older computers like the Apple II became obsolete, many of the games created for them were largely forgotten. This happened with MS-DOS games and even those developed on university computers in the 1970s, and it’s a recurring problem. Losing these games is a serious issue because the history of video games is part of our cultural history, just like books and movies, and we should strive to keep it alive. Fortunately, several groups are now dedicated to preserving these lost games, and their efforts are incredibly important.

Doctor Manhattan is incredibly powerful, but he’s not invincible. Characters from both Marvel and DC comics could potentially defeat him. We frequently see even gods lose battles, so it’s plausible some of these heroes could win using their abilities and smarts. Here are seven Marvel and DC characters who might be able to overcome Doctor Manhattan, something many believe is impossible.

Kenjaku started planning the Culling Game over a thousand years ago, and we now know even Sukuna is involved. His ultimate goal is to evolve cursed existence by combining Tengen with every person in Japan. To do this, he needs a massive amount of cursed energy, and the Culling Game – which pits current and former sorcerers against each other – is designed to generate it. While the season has been hinting at this event, the latest episode has officially launched the game, and it’s already clear this arc will be more complex and impactful than anything we’ve seen before.

The sci-fi series Extant, starring Halle Berry, will be removed from Netflix on February 18th. Originally airing on CBS between 2014 and 2015, the show followed an astronaut’s return from a year-long solo space mission. Alongside Berry, the cast included Goran Visnjic, Pierce Gagnon, Michael O’Neill, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (in Season 2). Though critically and popularly well-received, CBS cancelled Extant after two seasons due to falling ratings, expensive production costs, and changes in the storyline. The series was executive produced by Steven Spielberg.

Okay, fellow cartoon lovers, this is awesome news! I just read in The Hollywood Reporter that Turner Classic Movies has officially secured the rights to air classic Looney Tunes shorts on regular TV. And it’s a long-term deal – six years, to be exact! TCM is basically becoming the permanent home for these cartoons. They’re kicking things off this month with a bunch of Bugs Bunny shorts – 45 of them! – and he’s going to be their ‘Star of the Month.’ Seriously, I’m so excited to be able to catch these on TCM!

The new Marvel show, Wonder Man, is enjoyable, but it’s quite different from the comic book version of the character. The show centers around Simon Williams, an actor trying to find success, and his unlikely partnership with Trevor Slattery. They’re both hoping to get cast in a Wonder Man movie being made within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There’s just one problem: using superpowers while working in Hollywood is against the law.

Next week brings a lot of new games for both PS5 and PS4, with highly anticipated titles like Avowed leading the charge. Plus, the newest PS Plus games are launching, including the popular Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
