As a huge fan, I was thrilled to see not one, but two characters from Deep Space Nine show up in the Starfleet Academy episode! It all started with the Dax symbiote – still around in the 32nd century and now teaching at the Academy. She sent SAM on this amazing mission to learn more about Sisko, which led her to the Sisko Museum. There was one exhibit in particular that really blew me away. Honestly, the whole scene felt huge, quietly changing things in Star Trek lore and making one of Deep Space Nine’s best episodes even more meaningful. It was fantastic!

This week, Steam is giving away Magellania, a sci-fi tactical RPG that’s been out for five years. It’s a lesser-known game, which is likely why it’s free to download. Early players seem to really like it – it currently has a 100% positive rating based on 33 reviews. While not many people have tried it yet, those who have are enjoying the experience.
