BlackRock’s Big Bet: Ethereum Will Save the World (Or at Least Your Portfolio)

At the World Economic Forum (fancy talk for “just another day in the planet’s biggest fancy room”), Fink hinted that the financial system needs to hop on the digital bandwagon faster than your grandma updates her Facebook. The goal? A blockchain so unified that it could snitch on corruption, make transparency a thing, and probably reduce your taxes too. BlackRock isn’t shy about pushing ETH – they literally launched a billion-dollar token fund on it. That’s right, $2 billion locked and loaded, all riding the ETH train. Who needs second best when you’ve got Ethereum?

27 Years Ago, Ben Stiller & Jack Black Made a Sci-Fi Pilot That Might be the Best Thing Never Made

Created in 1999 for Fox, Heat Vision and Jack was a truly unusual comedy, bringing together a lot of talent in a way that felt innovative for its time. The show was directed by Ben Stiller and written by up-and-coming comedy writers Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab. It centers around Jack Austin (Owen Wilson), an ex-astronaut who gains incredible intelligence after an accident involving the sun – but loses it every sunset. He teams up with his roommate, Doug (also Owen Wilson), who’s been literally fused with a motorcycle thanks to a NASA experiment, becoming the talking vehicle known as Heat Vision. Together, they travel the country investigating strange, paranormal events, all while being chased by the real actor Ron Silver, who plays a secret assassin.

Top 3 New Netflix Movie Masterpieces the 2026 Oscars Overlooked – Biggest Snubs

As the dust settles on the 2026 Oscar nominations, it’s clear Netflix had a strong showing. Their films, especially Frankenstein with an impressive nine nominations, Train Dreams with four, and KPop Demon Hunters earning two, really stood out. While these nominations feel earned, it’s a bit of a shame to see a few other deserving Netflix titles overlooked. I’m a little surprised these three films didn’t get the Oscar love they deserved, but thankfully, you can still stream them now and decide for yourself!

We May Already Know One of Avengers: Doomsday’s Major Hero Deaths

The upcoming filming schedules for the next two Avengers movies give us a good idea of what the future holds for Bucky Barnes. Marvel plans to start filming Avengers: Secret Wars in the summer of 2026, which will require actors to be available for months. At the same time, Warner Bros. is starting production on The Batman Part II in the spring of 2026. Both movies are packed with secrets and complex storylines, making it difficult for an actor to star in both at the same time. Because the filming schedules overlap, it seems likely Bucky Barnes won’t be involved in Avengers: Secret Wars. This suggests that the Winter Soldier’s story will likely conclude during the events of Avengers: Doomsday.
