At San Diego Comic-Con’s Retailer Exclusive Panel, Marvel unveiled the exciting limited series titled “Alien vs. Captain America“. This four-issue run will hit stands in November and is written by Frank Tieri with Stefano Raffaele handling the artwork. Leinil Francis Yu has designed the main cover, while Dan Panosian has created a variant cover. The variant cover showcases Captain America’s shield adorned with an Alien, with a larger one lurking behind it, creating quite a menacing sight. Yu’s main cover depicts Captain America engaged in a tense standoff against one of the Aliens.

Marvel unveiled additional tales for the team-up series “Deadpool/Batman” #1 at a special retailer gathering during San Diego Comic-Con. Among these supplementary stories is one featuring Wolverine (Old Man Logan) and Batman (The Dark Knight Returns), penned and illustrated by Frank Miller. This collaboration marks Miller’s return to “The Dark Knight Returns“, a classic tale that has been reimagined across various platforms, such as animated films and influencing Zack Snyder’s movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice“. In “The Dark Knight Returns“, Bruce Wayne emerges from a decade-long retirement to resume his crime-fighting activities, ultimately engaging in a showdown against Superman.

Previously unveiled are some cards for the Spider-Man collaboration, which will introduce characters that Marvel comics enthusiasts recognize and cherish into the world of Magic: The Gathering. Lately, Wizards of the Coast has disclosed Welcome Decks focusing on Peter Parker’s Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, Venom, Ghost Spider, and Miles Morales’ Spider-Man. During today’s First Look panel at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), Wizards of the Coast provided fans with a sneak peek into what they can anticipate from the upcoming set.

The project seems to be in its initial phases, and there’s a possibility it may not proceed further. Nevertheless, if it does progress, it would represent the second video game adaptation for Kilter Films, who are also known for producing Amazon Prime Video’s hit series, Fallout, which is based on a series of video games. Although the specific game the series might be inspired by remains undisclosed, those involved in the project have been tight-lipped about the details. However, the upcoming series’ plotline, focusing on killing Nazis, should come as no surprise to fans, given its timeless appeal.

These characters – Eddie, Harvey, Selina, Ozzie, and Waylon – have played crucial roles in supporting and aiding Bruce Wayne in his mission as the vigilante known as Batman. Eddie imparted knowledge about electronics to Bruce. Harvey provided insights into Gotham’s law enforcement and political systems. Selina honed his skills in acrobatics and stealth, while Ozzie kept him informed about the city’s criminal underworld. Lastly, Waylon trained him to be a formidable fighter. Initially, they were unaware of Bruce’s secret intentions for acquiring these skills, but upon learning that he was Batman, each one of them stood by his side as partners in his fight against crime and became vital sources of information for the Caped Crusader.

Based on information from a reliable source within the industry known as Kurakasis, it appears that 2K may be organizing an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) event. The purpose of this event remains uncertain at present, but there’s a strong possibility that it could be connected to BioShock 4, given that it is currently the only confirmed project from 2K. While it’s also speculated that this could potentially be for a BioShock movie, the production for which is ongoing at Netflix and they don’t have much experience with ARGs. It’s possible that this event could instead be for another project, such as a remake of the original game. However, it should be noted that these are merely speculations. More likely than not, the ARG is being planned for a new BioShock game.
