Tomb Raider TV Show Cast Adds Star Wars Actress

I just read some exciting news! Apparently, Sigourney Weaver – yes, the Ripley from Alien and Neytiri from Avatar – is in talks to join the new live-action Tomb Raider series. I’ve been following this project for a while now, and it’s great to see Phoebe Waller-Bridge still involved – she’s been working on it for over two years as the creator, writer, and an executive producer. Chad Hodge is co-showrunning and Jonathan Van Tulleken is directing, which is a solid team. Plus, it sounds like Taylor Turner and Martin Bobb-Semple are already on board as series regulars, so things are really starting to come together!

Y2K-era Japan electronics repair shop simulator ReStory announced for PC

Evgeny Kisterev, director of Mandragora studio, explains that ReStory is inspired by a longing for the early 2000s – a time of sharing ringtones via infrared and using pencils to rewind cassette tapes. He remembers when devices felt personal and unique, a feeling lost in today’s world of identical screens. Kisterev, deeply impressed by Japan’s impact on technology, chose 2000s Tokyo as the game’s setting and is excited to share this wave of nostalgia with players, hoping they’ll fondly remember that era too.
