On February 28th, 2025, Capcom is releasing the global launch of Monster Hunter Wilds. This action-packed game will be playable on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. Sony has unveiled the selection of fresh games for both PS5 and PS4 that will be offered free to all PlayStation Plus members in October. To be honest, September 2024 was a particularly impressive month for PlayStation Plus, offering games like Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, and Little Nightmares 2 at no charge. Quidditch Champions, in particular, was a fantastic addition to the platform since it became available as a day-one title on its global launch day. Now, the games for October have been revealed, and they might even surpass September’s offerings.
In a recent announcement, Sony and Sucker Punch Productions revealed plans for a spin-off titled Ghost of Y?tei, following up on the success of their 2020 release, Ghost of Tsushima. While the original game centered around Jin Sakai as its protagonist, the new game will introduce a fresh character: Atsu. This week also saw the unveiling of the first trailer for the upcoming sequel, which was confirmed to be among several games set to benefit from enhanced performance on the PlayStation 5 Pro console.
Today in Sony State of Play, we were treated to a fresh trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds. Towards the end of this sneak peek, it was announced that the game will be launched on February 28, 2025. One of the highlights of the trailer was a clear view of the game’s main monster, Arkveld.
The whispers were true, and another PlayStation remaster is on the way.
During Sony’s State of Play event, one of the PlayStation VR2 games showcased was “Metro Awakening,” developed by 4A Games. This first-person VR experience will be released on November 7th for PlayStation VR2, PC VR, and Meta Quest 2/3. You can watch the latest trailer below.
