One of Marvel’s Greatest Divine Weapons Has Been Destroyed (& You’ll Never Guess Who Did It)

It’s a comic book tradition: powerful weapons eventually get broken. Captain America’s shield has been damaged many times, and even mighty items like Mjolnir and the Infinity Gauntlet (though I still think of those powerful objects as ‘Gems,’ the movies have made ‘Gauntlet’ the standard) have been destroyed. Hercules’s Golden Mace was often said to be unbreakable, so naturally, it met its end. What makes its destruction interesting isn’t just that it happened, but who destroyed it: Wolverine. In Wolverine (Vol. 8) #18, Logan and Hercules fought, and the Golden Mace was broken in a conflict that was much larger than their personal battle.

The First Tomb Raider Reboot Released 20 Years Ago Today (And Saved Lara Croft)

The character experienced a successful revival with the release of Tomb Raider: Legend, though the game’s creators preferred to call it a reimagining rather than a reboot. Launched in North America on April 11, 2006, the game was a major success and breathed new life into the Tomb Raider series. Without it, Lara Croft might have faded into obscurity instead of becoming a prominent figure in the gaming world again.

Jujutsu Kaisen Author Creates The Perfect Junji Ito Crossover

Now that Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has finished, the creator of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gege Akutami, has some free time. After years of working on the story of Yuji Itadori and the students at Jujutsu Tech, and with no new series planned, Akutami decided to draw one of Junji Ito’s most terrifying characters. While Tomie doesn’t have powers like a Domain Expansion, she’s always been a truly frightening figure in Ito’s work. Akutami recently shared this new artwork of Tomie—who’s appeared in many anime and live-action adaptations—in an issue of the Japanese magazine Da Vinci.

God-Tier Cosmic Character’s Daredevil: Born Again Appearance Officially Confirmed

There was a lot of discussion about whether the Watcher intentionally appeared in Daredevil: Born Again, but a recent Instagram post from Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum seems to confirm that it was. This makes Born Again the eighth Marvel Cinematic Universe project to feature the Watcher, following appearances in What If…?, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, I Am Groot, X-Men ’97, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Eyes of Wakanda, and Marvel Zombies. Winderbaum shared the scene from Born Again with the caption “always watching…”

25 Years Later, One of the Last Great Parody Movies Is Streaming on Hulu

Many consider Not Another Teen Movie to be the last truly funny parody film. Released in December 2001, it came out right as the genre started to decline, moving away from smart satire and towards poorly made, critically disliked spoofs. Now, 25 years later, the beloved movie is available to stream on Hulu as of April 1st. For those who’ve forgotten, Not Another Teen Movie playfully mocks classic teen films from the 80s and 90s like She’s All That, 10 Things I Hate About You, and Pretty in Pink. The story revolves around popular athlete Jake Wyler, who makes a bet that he can turn Janey Briggs, labeled as the “unpopular ugly girl,” into prom queen.
