Disney is Planning to Release Competition to Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 With Fan Favorite Franchise

December 5th will be a busy day for family entertainment! Both the new Five Nights at Freddy’s movie and the latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid film are being released on the same day. While it might not compete with the horror flick, this will be the eighth Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie overall. There have been four live-action films and this new one will be the fourth animated installment. Titled Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw, the movie centers on Greg Heffley’s challenging relationship with his dad, and his attempts to improve things to avoid being sent to military school. It’s an animated film and will be available to stream on Disney+ only – so don’t expect to see it in theaters.

Underrated Indie RPG Is Finally Coming to Nintendo Switch & Switch 2 Before the End of the Year

The charming game Cinnabunny first launched on PC in February 2025. It’s a delightful mix of relaxing exploration, a baking simulation, and some simple role-playing features. Fans, including myself, have been eagerly waiting for it to come to the Nintendo Switch, as it seems like a perfect fit for the console. Thankfully, Reky Studios announced on December 11th that Cinnabunny will be released on Switch, and will also be playable on the upcoming Switch 2.

This release includes both the original Red Dead Redemption story and the Undead Nightmare expansion, similar to the PS4 re-release a few years ago. If you already own the PS4 version, you can upgrade to this one for free. It’s also playable with a PS Plus Extra or GTA+ subscription.

Red Dead Redemption Remaster Error Prevents Xbox Players from Free Upgrade

In 2023, Rockstar brought back Red Dead Redemption on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, and then on PC in 2024. However, the PS4 and Switch versions weren’t fully optimized—the PS4 version, even on a PS5, was capped at 1080p. While a 60 FPS update eventually arrived, some players felt it wasn’t enough given the game’s price. Now, Red Dead Redemption is available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2, and there’s also a brand new mobile version you can play through Netflix.

5 Great Isaac Asimov Books Not Adapted Into Movies

Although Isaac Asimov is a hugely influential science fiction author, Hollywood hasn’t quite managed to capture the depth of his ideas on film. We’ve seen movies inspired by his work, like the 2004 hit I, Robot, which featured Will Smith fighting rogue robots, but took many liberties with the original story. Bicentennial Man, starring Robin Williams, tried to portray the emotional life of an artificial intelligence, but received a mixed reception. Apple TV+’s recent Foundation series is a visually impressive example of how complex sci-fi can work on streaming platforms. However, many of Asimov’s most compelling novels still haven’t been adapted for the big or small screen.
