Bruce Straley, founder of Wildflower Interactive, explained in a press release that the studio was founded on a passion for creative exploration and collaboration, with a goal of redefining what video games can offer players. Their new game, Coven of the Chicken Foot, reflects this by combining the charm of classic games with innovative storytelling and gameplay. Straley expressed his pride in the team’s work and excitement for players to experience the unique world and characters they’ve created.

Jonathan Blow, founder of Thekla and the lead designer of Order of the Sinking Star, describes the game as his most ambitious and collaborative project yet. In a recent announcement, he explained that the game is the result of many designers combining their ideas to create a puzzle experience that’s larger and more complex than anything they’ve made before. Blow believes they’ve truly pushed the boundaries of the puzzle adventure genre, and he’s excited to share more details as the 2026 launch approaches. The game features design work from a talented team including Alan Hazelden (A Monster’s Expedition), Sean Barrett (Promesst), Jonah Ostroff (Heroes of Sokoban), Zach Polansky (Enigmash), Patrick Traynor (Patrick’s Parabox), Marc ten Bosch (Miegakure), and others.

The game’s reveal was brief, featuring only a cinematic trailer. It showed a female lead character, two allies who will accompany her, and a mysterious new enemy. Players can expect to wield a lightsaber as they play.

Scheduled for release on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2026, this game features Stellan Skarsgård (known for his role in Andor) and is set in a transformed hotel on the Moon. The story is mysterious, but expect a disturbing mix of body horror, cyberpunk elements, and graphic imagery. If you found the initial trailer for Larian Studios’ Divinity unsettling, this game promises to be even more so.

The upcoming game, Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, isn’t being created by BioWare – Arcanaut Studios is taking the lead. Players will experience the story through the eyes of a Force user whose choices will determine whether they follow the path of the light or the dark side. While details about how the game will play are still limited, it sounds like it will feature impactful decisions and exciting battles. It’s planned for release on consoles and PC, but development is still in its early stages, meaning it could be a while before it’s available.

Tsunade didn’t simply become Hokage by name; she rebuilt Konoha’s medical system and renewed the villagers’ hope during a very difficult time, truly earning her place as one of the village’s best leaders.

There’s an incredible buzz surrounding this new project, and it genuinely feels like a fantastic return to a much-loved era in Star Wars history. What’s really captivating is the mystery – the creators are skillfully hinting at things without revealing too much, which is driving fans wild with anticipation and theories.

Jonathan Blow is known for taking a considerable amount of time to develop his games. It was seven years between his acclaimed game Braid and The Witness, and his upcoming project, Order of the Sinking Star, is taking even longer. This is because it’s a very ambitious game designed to be deeply engaging and challenging. I recently had the opportunity to speak with Blow and see a demonstration of the game, and it was a truly insightful experience.

Casey Hudson, who directed games like Knights of the Old Republic and the original Mass Effect series, is heading up the development of this new game.
