IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak announced on Bluesky that the game is now completely playable. The extra development time will be used to improve and polish the game, ensuring it’s the best it can be when it releases. Abrak described the project as the company’s most ambitious yet, larger in scope than the Hitman series, and believes this extra time will help deliver a high-quality experience for players from the start.

Let’s be honest, “retcons” – changes to established story details – often get a bad rap in the comic book world, and sometimes rightfully so! We all remember those changes that just didn’t work and upset a lot of fans – things like the “One More Day” Spider-Man storyline or the twist with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch’s parentage. But you know what? For every bad retcon, there are tons that actually improve a character’s history, and often we don’t even notice them! The really good ones just seamlessly become part of the story, accepted by everyone. That’s what I want to talk about today. I’m going to highlight seven of the best retcons Batman has had over his incredible eighty-six year run – changes that actually made the character even better.

Then in 2010, Super Meat Boy officially launched and totally blew my mind – it really grabbed me and a lot of other hardcore platforming fans. The characters – Meat Boy, Band-Aid Girl, and even Dr. Fetus – switched things up with an autorunner style in Super Meat Boy Forever. But now, they’re taking their biggest leap yet with Super Meat Boy 3D coming out next year, and I can’t wait!
I’m excited to share that Digimon Beatbreak is finally getting an English dub! Crunchyroll announced it will start streaming the dubbed version on December 27th. They’re launching with a big premiere – the first five episodes will be available all at once. After that, new episodes will continue to be released alongside the original Japanese version. I recently watched an episode of The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball that was full of fun nods to Dragon Ball. In the episode, called “The Synthesis,” two characters, Nicole and Yuki, go to their daughters’ career day hoping to make a good impression, but things don’t go as planned. They end up fusing together – just like characters do in Dragon Ball using both the fusion dance and Potarra earrings! They even created a new character, “Nicoshida,” and the animation style briefly shifted to look like classic anime, complete with a narrator who sounded straight out of Dragon Ball Z. It was a really clever and entertaining tribute to the series.
