This organization, known for its role in maintaining the integrity of time, first appeared as early as 1986’s Thor comic #372, where they pursued a time-traveling villain to prevent World War VII from occurring in the Marvel Universe. Despite discussions about temporal distortions, local time disruptions, and monitoring of non-existent alternate realities where time has no significance, the TVA made appearances in various comic series like Fantastic Four, What If…?, and Despicable Deadpool long before capturing a time-traveling Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
