The main reason Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has been so popular is that, like Mugen Train before it, it’s an official part of the main story – it’s more than just a standalone anime movie. This approach has become more common lately, and there are definitely other story arcs from the manga that could work well as similar films.
Though Saved By the Bell is generally well-made, it has a few oddities. Interestingly, the show actually began as a different series called Good Morning, Miss Bliss on the Disney Channel. Later, Saved By the Bell re-used episodes from Good Morning, Miss Bliss in its reruns, even though the shows had different characters and took place in different locations. But perhaps the strangest thing about the show was that episodes often aired out of order. In fact, on November 14, 1992, two episodes aired back-to-back that really showed how jumbled the order could be.
Deadline reported that Atlas Entertainment and Ghost Machine are teaming up to make a movie based on the popular Image Comics series, Redcoat. Geoff Johns will write the screenplay, drawing from a story he created with the comic’s artist, Bryan Hitch. Alex Gartner and Charles Roven will produce the film for Atlas Entertainment. Roven has a history of working with Johns on DC films and has also been a producer on many previous movies in the DC Extended Universe.

Okay, so I was super excited to see that John Woo’s Face/Off is now streaming for free on Tubi! Seriously, this 1997 action movie with John Travolta and Nicolas Cage is just wild. The basic plot is that Travolta plays an FBI agent who goes under the knife to swap faces with the guy who killed his son – that’s Nicolas Cage’s character. It’s a crazy plan to stop a terrorist attack, but things go wrong when Cage wakes up early and seeks revenge. The cast is fantastic too, with Joan Allen, Gina Gershon, and Alessandro Nivola all adding to the fun, plus a bunch of other great actors like Dominique Swain, Nick Cassavetes, and Thomas Jane popping up along the way.
Rosamund Pike, who starred in The Wheel of Time, recently discussed the show’s cancellation with Collider. She explained that several factors contributed to the show’s difficulties, including fan criticism of the first season. Pike admitted she largely agreed with the criticism and cited challenges like COVID-19 outbreaks during filming and changes in key crew members as contributing problems.
