The rail shooter remake first launched for Switch and PC via Steam and GOG on August 7.

Windows Central reports that Target employees haven’t received any instructions to remove Xbox products from shelves. Similarly, former IGN writer Destin Legarie called a local Walmart and was told by an employee that they hadn’t heard anything about clearing out Xbox inventory or the product line being discontinued.

As expected, the images are from an early, unfinished version of *Everwild*, likely taken well before the game was released. They show us different parts of the game’s interface, and give a preview of what the world and characters were planned to look like. One image even displays the graphics settings menu, though with temporary, default values.

The new game, *House of Necrosis*, blends turn-based strategy with RPG elements, all wrapped in a visual style reminiscent of classic PlayStation 1 horror games. Inspired by 3D survival horror titles from the 1990s, it’s the first release from developer and publisher Warkus, and it’s been very well received. As of late, it’s earned 246 user reviews, with an impressive 96% of players giving it a positive rating.
