About
The House of the Dead 2: Remake is a reimagining of the classic arcade shooter. You can play as either James or Gary, taking on the role of a lone agent, or team up with a friend in co-op mode to fight hordes of dangerous zombies.
Story
So, back in 2000, I was playing this game where this quiet little town just got swarmed by some seriously nasty creatures. I took on the role of one of two AMS agents – James Taylor or Gary Stewart – and we were sent in to figure out what was going on. It reminded me a lot of this other case we handled back in ’98, the Curien Mansion thing. Basically, we had to blast our way through tons of monsters to get to the bottom of it and find out what caused the whole outbreak.
Key Features
- Remastered music (with the classic soundtrack also available in the game).
- Modern graphics.
- Gameplay faithful to the original game.
- Cooperative mode.
- Multiple endings and branching levels.
Various Game Modes
- Classic Campaign – Almost two years after the events of the first installment, AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart are deployed to investigate a city seized by undead creatures.
- Boss Mode – Take on the challenge of defeating the game’s bosses as fast as you can.
- Training Mode – Polish your skills in several available training scenarios to improve your abilities before deploying on a mission.
