Despite Takopi’s Original Sin breaking records for anime viewership, the announcement on September 30th, at the end of the summer season, showed that it was actually the new shonen anime Gachiakuta that became the most popular show on the platform. The official Gachiakuta account on X (previously known as Twitter) shared that the series reached number one in the July season’s viewing charts. Starting with its debut episode this summer, Gachiakuta consistently had the highest viewership in over 200 countries, proving to be the platform’s most consistent hit. This success is noteworthy and may indicate a future trend for the anime industry.

Starting October 1st, fans of Scooby-Doo had more to watch on both HBO Max and Paramount+. Subscribers to both services gained access to a bunch of Scooby movies just in time for Halloween. While it’s no surprise to see these additions on HBO Max – the Warner Bros. streaming service is the usual place to find Scooby content – the number of animated Scooby adventures appearing on Paramount+ came as a surprise to many viewers.

The game, called Shujinkou, came out on PC and PS5 in February. Though it’s a smaller indie title from Rice Games, Inc., it’s received a lot of praise from both critics and players. This JRPG features turn-based battles, dungeon exploration, a compelling story, and even lets you practice Japanese! It boasts an impressive Metacritic score of 90 for the PS5 version, and now it’s also available on the Nintendo Switch.

Luckily, live-action isn’t the only way to experience the Justice League. The team has thrived in animation for many years, starring in its own series and guest-starring in others. Here’s a ranking of every animated iteration of the Justice League.

Recently, Oda shared a story about discovering Dragon Ball and how it impacted him as a child. He explained that before fourth grade, Arale-Chan (Dr. Slump) was already on TV, but his parents considered it inappropriate and wouldn’t let him watch it – and he admitted it *did* have a lot of silly humor! He recalled that back then, many families only had one TV, usually in the living room. So, if he wanted to watch Arale-Chan, the whole family would have to watch it too.

Checking Netflix’s current Top 10 TV shows, the series Halo – originally on Paramount+ – has quickly become popular, landing at number 4. Halo is currently only behind Wayward, Love Is Blind, and Doc, and is performing better than Angela, Black Rabbit, House of Guinness, The Way Home, Earthquake: Joke Telling Business, and Wednesday (according to Flix Patrol).

It was revealed in August that Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He’ll be joining Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Sadie Sink, and others in the upcoming MCU film directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. This will be Ruffalo’s first appearance in the MCU since She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which aired in October 2022. In that series, he assisted Jennifer Walters in becoming She-Hulk and unexpectedly traveled to Sakaar. Since he didn’t return from Sakaar by himself, Spider-Man: Brand New Day might also see the return of Bruce Banner’s son, Skaar.

It’s now 2025, and both games have been released. The connections between them go beyond simply being stealth-action titles set in Japan, hundreds of years in the past. There are much more significant similarities, and in my view, one game clearly stands out. I’ve reviewed both Ghost of Yotei and Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which means I’ve spent a considerable amount of time analyzing them in detail.

Doreen Allene Green, also known as Squirrel Girl, is a newer hero compared to the original Avengers, but she’s actually been around longer than many of the latest people trying to become Avengers. She’s also probably one of the most overlooked heroes ever. It’s understandable-when you hear about a superhero whose power involves squirrels, you naturally expect someone else to step up and help.
