I’m Excited To See Laboon In One Piece Season 2, And The Sanji Actor Opened Up About Working In The Gigantic Whale Set

As a huge *One Piece* fan, I was already excited when the Season 2 trailer briefly showed Laboon! But Entertainment Weekly just dropped some incredible, clear pictures of him, and wow! They’re using CGI, of course, to really bring this gentle giant to life, but what’s even cooler is they *built* a practical Laboon too! Taz Skylar shared that they actually repurposed the biggest boat set they had to create it, which is just amazing dedication to the source material.

A New Law Just Made the Worst Thing about Streaming Illegal With a Ban in One American State

California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a new law, SB 576, to prevent streaming services from using excessively loud advertisements that could startle babies, frighten pets, or damage hearing. This extends existing federal rules about TV ad volume to streaming platforms within the state. The law takes effect on July 1, 2026, giving streaming services time to adjust and work with their advertising partners.

11 Years Ago Today, the Arrowverse Debuted the Superhero Show James Gunn’s DCU Will Struggle To Beat

Though the DC movies, particularly those centered around the Justice League and Suicide Squad, often get the blame, the Arrowverse also deserves attention. Even though The CW’s shows have been off the air for a while, many fans continue to rewatch them on streaming platforms. One series, in particular, will be difficult for James Gunn and his team to overshadow, as it revolutionized the superhero landscape eleven years ago today.

Netflix Just Added All 7 Seasons of One of the Best TV Dramas (And There’s a Sequel Series Coming Soon)

I’m so excited that all seven seasons of *Nurse Jackie* are now on Netflix! It was getting hard to find after being available only for purchase, and with talk of a revival, it’s a perfect time to rewatch or discover this amazing show. It follows Jackie Peyton, a seriously flawed but brilliant emergency room nurse in New York City, who definitely bends the rules – and has a secret. Created by Liz Brixius, Linda Wallem, and Evan Dunsky, it originally aired on Showtime for 80 episodes and was a huge hit – it racked up five Emmy wins and consistently got great reviews, with critics giving it an 81% score and audiences loving it even more at 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. I can’t wait for everyone to binge it!

PS1 Game From 1997 Getting Unexpected New Remaster Next Year

I was super excited to hear that Revolution Software is remastering *Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror*! It’s one of my all-time favorite point-and-click adventure games. I originally played it on PC, and it was amazing. They also brought it to the PlayStation 1 back in ’97 (or ’99 if you’re in the US), and that was the only time it ever appeared on a console, which is kinda cool!

Is Battlefield 6 on Xbox Game Pass? Here’s the scoop — I wouldn’t be surprised if it beats Call of Duty as this year’s biggest multiplayer FPS

2025 has been a fantastic year for gaming, especially for players who enjoy single-player or co-op adventures, with popular titles like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Borderlands 4 leading the way. While there haven’t been as many big multiplayer releases, that’s about to change with the launch of Battlefield 6 on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and PS5 – it could be the biggest multiplayer shooter of the year.
