When you look beyond the surface, it’s clear that Kaedegami is merely okay: an achievement worth noting in a place where the elite are as discerning as its audience. However, this doesn’t typically hold my interest. Yet, I find myself continuing to follow Kaedegami for these reasons.

Starting August 23rd, Cartoon Network will start broadcasting “Blue Exorcist – Shimane Illuminati Saga”, as announced by Toonami. This new season, airing at 1:30 AM Eastern, is a much-anticipated comeback for the series since the end of its second season in 2017. The “Shimane Illuminati Saga” was introduced last year, following which another season of “Blue Exorcist” has been released to expand the storyline of Rin Okumura and his extraordinary exploits. Previously, “Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga” served as the fourth season, airing towards the end of last year before concluding in March this year. As the manga continues under creator Kazue Kato, there’s potential for Studio VOLN to adapt more material and continue with the anime series.

The much-anticipated update for the “Schedule 1” Cartel in the widely played drug dealer simulator is almost here! This fan-voted expansion brings fierce rival cartels into the game, along with some exciting new features. However, it appears that TVGS slightly overestimated the release date for this update initially planning it for late July, then early August. Now, TVGS has announced that it should be available “within the next couple of days.” This means beta players can expect to face off against these new rival cartels around August 10th or 11th, assuming everything goes smoothly.

In a somewhat unfortunate turn of events for Ben Reilly at Marvel, he was converted into the antagonist Chasm. However, the narrative preceding this change featured his most impressive Spider-Man outfit yet. The Beyond Corporation equipped Ben with a revamped and contemporary Spider-Man attire that bears resemblance to the one he wore during his initial tenure as Spider-Man. This suit retains the classic Spidey mask and color scheme, but stands out due to its large spider emblem and absence of a belt. The emblem in particular is striking and encapsulates Ben’s bold personality perfectly. It also serves to distinguish this suit from Peter Parker’s in an essential manner. Although it might not reach the level of iconicity as his Scarlet Spider suit, I’d argue that the Beyond version makes for a terrific Spider-Man costume that fits Ben exceptionally well.

Following this, something truly astonishing unfolded. The anime expanded a brief scene from the manga, which was originally concluded in just five pages, into a four-minute sequence. Though the original rock song, “Hunting Soul,” with its separate Japanese and English dub versions featuring the lead vocals of famous rock bands, surpassed fan expectations, it’s possible that an earlier scene in the episode might have been missed by some viewers. This particular moment, when Hayashi starts setting up, bears a striking resemblance to the opening sequence of the 1985 film “Back to the Future,” where Marty McFly prepares to perform a song.

As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I must say that Marvel’s Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been consistently delivering post-credits scenes in a whopping 80+ films, TV shows, short movies, and special presentations. The exception being the epic saga of “Avengers: Endgame.” However, the thrill isn’t slowing down! The latest blockbusters, such as “*Thunderbolts*” and “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” not only continue the tradition but also address a recent plot twist or two with some clever humor thrown in for good measure. Instead of merely following the pattern, these scenes actually help tie up loose ends, making them even more exciting for us fans!

In a chat with CNN, the new CEO of Paramount, David Ellison, who recently took over after the merger with Skydance, expressed his admiration for South Park. A lifelong fan, he praised the creators Matt and Trey as incredibly talented individuals with a knack for offending everyone equally.
