Gamers often enjoy collecting art books, and The Art of Death Stranding 2 is a fantastic example. Releasing on February 17th, this book is filled with gorgeous concept art and imagery that helped shape the game. It includes hundreds of designs for characters, gear, environments, and creatures, featuring the work of Yoji Shinkawa, the director of character and mechanical design. Animator Matt Braly, known for creating the Disney series Amphibia, recently announced he has two major updates to share this week – one positive, and one less so. While he didn’t say if the news concerns Amphibia, Braly has a strong background in animation, having worked on popular shows like Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Big City Greens, and The Owl House. He also contributed to the animated film The Mitchells Vs. The Machines. Currently, Braly is developing another film with Sony Pictures Animation, but details about that project remain secret.

Unlike the first M3GAN film, which was a surprise success in 2023 earning $181 million with a small $12 million budget, the sequel M3GAN 2.0 didn’t perform as well in theaters, bringing in only $39 million. However, it found an audience on streaming platforms. It was a top-three hit on Netflix in the U.S. and reached the top six worldwide, and it’s now the most-watched movie globally on HBO Max, according to FlixPatrol.

Based on the company’s recent sales numbers, the game has been quite popular. However, because it was immediately available on Xbox Game Pass and as part of the PS Plus Essential subscription last year, many more people have likely downloaded and played it.

Details about the upcoming series have been scarce, but we now know Nicolas Cage will play Ben Reilly, not another version of Peter Parker. The series will also debut with both black and white and color episodes. A recent preview in Esquire revealed new photos of the cast and confirmed the appearance of Silvermaine, a significant Spider-Man villain, alongside other characters.
