Batman is a formidable hero, but there have been many different versions of him over the years, and some aren’t as powerful as the one most people know. Sometimes, other characters have temporarily become Batman when Bruce Wayne was unavailable. Other times, these are simply different versions from alternate universes or past storylines that don’t measure up to the current Batman. Here are five of the weakest versions of Batman to appear in comic books. While they each have some abilities, none of them are as strong as the Batman we see today.

The horror film Clown in a Cornfield, directed by Eli Craig, is coming to Hulu on February 10th. While it had a limited release in theaters last May, it actually did well at the box office and is worth checking out when it starts streaming.

Golden Trigger isn’t a disaster, but it’s also not a brilliant, overlooked gem. It frequently looks good and has moments of cleverness, but often loses sight of its main direction. The show aims for the adventurous spirit of the original Dragon Ball, but also feels pressure from Dragon Ball Z to escalate every conflict into a massive battle. This constant struggle between those two ideas is why people are still debating Golden Trigger decades later. It’s not simply that viewers disagree with the creative decisions; the series itself is fundamentally built on conflicting ideas.

The Star Wars Kids YouTube channel recently shared a short animated video showing Rey’s journey in the sequel trilogy. Near the end, the video portrays her battle with Emperor Palpatine, explaining she gains strength and support from “the power of 1,000 generations of Jedi.” As this is said, the video flashes images of Jedi Masters like Luke, Leia, Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Ahsoka. This suggests that Ahsoka died before the events of the sequel trilogy.

Rather than trying to be exactly like the original series, House of the Dragon focuses on a specific conflict – the Targaryen civil war – and a more limited political landscape. This makes for a more focused and intense show, full of drama and harsh moments, but it also means it doesn’t have the same sweeping scale that attracted so many viewers to Game of Thrones. Is House of the Dragon better or worse? It’s not a simple question. Here are three areas where the new show excels, and three where it doesn’t quite measure up.

Valve recently explained on Steam why they haven’t announced the release date or price of the Steam Machine. They originally intended to have that information, along with details for the new Steam Frame VR headset, available by now. However, shortages of parts have significantly increased manufacturing costs, forcing Valve to reconsider their plans. They still aim to launch both products in the first half of the year, but aren’t ready to share specific dates or prices just yet.
