This broke Kickstarter records, making it the platform’s most funded single-issue comic book. The project continued to thrive, ultimately reaching over $1,000,000 in funding through Backerkit.
As I mentioned earlier today, I believe this change is meant to highlight the value of the yearly subscription, which remains the same. It’s clear the company wants to discourage customers from frequently switching between different, smaller subscriptions.
