Forever Entertainment, along with MegaPixel Studio and Storm Trident, have shared an eight-minute gameplay video of the *Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake* demo. Fans can experience it firsthand at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, taking place September 25-28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Here is an overview of the game, via Forever Entertainment:
About
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake is an updated version of the classic rail shooter, set in a fascinating world filled with ancient ruins, a powerful empire, and strange creatures. The fate of the continent hangs in the balance.
I get to play as Jean Jacque Lundi, a young rider who teams up with this amazing dragon named Lagi. We’re heading out on a really dangerous adventure – think battles, uncovering lost stuff, and learning about old, forgotten civilizations. It’s gonna be epic!
The game plays like a traditional on-rails shooter, featuring quick action where you defeat enemies using Lundi’s gun and Lagi’s powerful lasers. A special Berserk Attack can help you overcome even the most challenging fights.
Key Features
- Series Prequel – The story takes place 20 years before the events of the first Panzer Dragoon game.
- Dragon Evolution – Lagi’s growth depends on your playstyle and combat performance.
- Dynamic Rail Shooter – Fast action, intense encounters, and epic boss battles.
- Branching Routes – Multiple paths on the levels increase replayability.
- Berserk Attack – Unleash devastating power to turn the tide of battle.
- Pandora’s Box – Unlock additional gameplay options, modifications and mission variants after completing the campaign.
- Remastered Music – Includes both the original soundtrack and a remastered version arranged by Saori Kobayashi.
- Enhanced Visuals – Modern graphics faithful to the original style.
- Two Control Schemes – Choose between classic and modern controls.
I’m so excited for *Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake*! It’s coming to pretty much everything – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and even PC through Steam and GOG. We don’t have a release date yet, but I’m keeping my eyes peeled!
