The hit political thriller, Paradise, captivated audiences when it premiered in 2025, and now we know when season two will arrive.
Season 2 of the show, starring Sterling K. Brown, premieres on February 23th. The first three episodes will be available on Hulu in the US and Disney+ everywhere else. After that, new episodes will be released every Monday.
The announcement came during a panel discussion for the show at CCXP25 Brazil, alongside the release of a brand-new trailer. The trailer, now available to watch online, shows Brown’s character, Xavier, leaving the bunker to find his wife, Teri, who is played by Enuka Okuma.
I was so excited to finally see Shailene Woodley’s new character! It was also great to see Julianne Nicholson and James Marsden back in the mix – I really love what they bring to the story.

Season 2 of Paradise follows Xavier as he looks for Teri and discovers how others have been living since the catastrophic event known as ‘The Day’.
Okay, so things are really falling apart in Paradise now. Everyone’s dealing with the fallout from last season, and honestly, it’s getting messy. But the biggest twist? We’re starting to learn some seriously shocking stuff about how the city even started – secrets that people have clearly been keeping for a long time. It’s a total game-changer, and I can’t wait to see where it goes!
The new season features both familiar faces and fresh talent. Returning stars Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans will be joined by newcomers Thomas Doherty and Jon Beavers, as well as actors Brown, Nicholson, Marsden, Okuma, and Woodley.

Dan Fogelman, the creator of the show, has hinted that the second season will explore more science fiction elements. He told Deadline that while season one explained the purpose and origins of the bunker, season two will delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding it.
The second season deliberately features more science fiction elements than the first, focusing on themes like climate change and the scientific advancements that follow.
We’re seeing more stories like this one about surviving after a disaster. But it makes you wonder, how did those who escaped actually manage to live outside of the shelter?
