Paris Jackson Says She’s Mom Debbie Rowe’s Clone in Rare Family Photos

For Paris Jackson, a glance at mom Debbie Rowe is like looking at the woman in the mirror.

Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s 28-year-old daughter, recently shared some old family photos for Mother’s Day and pointed out how much she looks like her father.

On May 10th, Paris shared a Mother’s Day message on Instagram, jokingly calling her mother the original model she was ‘cloned’ from.

Paris and Debbie, who both have blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, appeared in a photo together, smiling for the camera. Another picture showed them with similar expressions. The singer also shared a photo from a family gathering earlier this year, where they wore a red jacket with a Southwestern-style design and Debbie had on a matching plaid flannel shirt.

Paris Jackson and her brothers, Prince Jackson, 29, and Bigi “Blanket” Jackson, 24, have become close, but it took time. They were mainly raised by their father, Michael Jackson, until he passed away in 2009 at the age of 50.

 

Paris Jackson explained in a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone that she grew up without knowing her biological mother. She said she began questioning Michael Jackson about it once she understood that men cannot have babies.

She explained that when her mother entered her life, it wasn’t a traditional mother-daughter dynamic. It felt more like a connection between two adults.

That’s why she considers Debbie, 67, to be more of a “friend” than a parent.

Paris explained on Red Table Talk in 2021 that she enjoyed getting to know her sister and discovering how much they had in common, including a shared love for country and folk music.

We have a lot in common, and I really enjoy having her as a friend. It’s a very relaxed and easygoing friendship, which is exactly what I appreciate about it.

It was incredibly moving to see them all together on stage. They honored their father at his memorial service, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on July 7th, 2009. As someone who’s followed their family, it was a beautiful tribute.
