Tom Brady Takes Aim at Chelsea Handler During Kevin Hart Netflix Roast

Chelsea Handler may have to throw a penalty flag against Tom Brady.

Even though Nikki Glaser wasn’t at the recent Kevin Hart roast, Tom Brady, who has won seven Super Bowls, referenced her memorable performance from his 2024 roast and used it as an opportunity to playfully tease the host of Chelsea Lately.

During a recent Netflix comedy special on May 10th, Tom made a crude comment about Nikki Glaser’s appearance, saying she “looked like st.” He quickly apologized, clarifying he meant to address Chelsea.

The NFL player then criticized Kevin Hart, who grew up with a single mother.

Tom continued, pointedly mentioning, “Unlike your father, I’m here.” He then joked about Kevin’s size, adding, “And I even got you a jersey… in newborn size.”

Plus, the former quarterback couldn’t help but suggest Netflix had downgraded from his own roast.

He was clearly baffled, asking how I ended up with his roast! He reminded me – not subtly – that he’s a seven-time Super Bowl champion with five Super Bowl MVP awards. Then he brought up Kevin Hart, pointing out Kevin’s only claim to fame was being in two Ride Along movies and being the third most recognizable face in Jumanji. It was…a lot. Honestly, it felt like a weird flex, but a hilarious one!

Chelsea also playfully teased her friend Kevin about his connection with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

There’s a rumor that Kevin was ‘discovered’ while Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was getting a colonoscopy, but that’s not how it happened. I was actually one of the first people to give Kevin a chance to showcase his comedy, offering him a regular spot on Chelsea Lately.

The 51-year-old jokingly said he didn’t realize when he first did this that it would lead to three Jumanji movies, two Ride Along films, two Die Hart series, countless episodes of Hart to Heart, and all the requests coming in through the Make-A-Wish foundation related to his group, the Plastic Cup Boyz.

But despite Chelsea’s ridicule of her friend, she ended her time with a heartfelt message to Kevin.

She expressed how proud she was to be friends with a male comedian who treats women with respect, prioritizes his family, and loves his wife, Eniko. She said these qualities made her a proud friend.
