With so many games being remastered or rereleased this year, it’s easy to overlook Bandai Namco’s Patapon 1 + 2 Replay, which combines both games into one. But Bandai Namco hasn’t forgotten about it – a new update adds a Boss Rush Challenge! You can see it in action in the trailer below.
After you beat the game, you can unlock a special mode where you’ll put your troops to the test against increasingly difficult waves of bosses. Each stage will throw more and stronger bosses at you. Don’t worry though – you can always continue to improve and upgrade your Patapon to prepare them for the challenge.
Bandai Namco hasn’t said if this is the last update for Patapon 1 + 2 Replay, so we’ll have to wait for more information. You can read our review of the PS5 version, where we scored it a 7 out of 10. The game is also available on Nintendo Switch and PC.
