The demo for Ice-Pick Lodge’s *Pathologic 3* is available now as part of the Steam Next Fest! Along with the demo, a new trailer has been released, revealing the game will launch on PC on January 9th, 2026. You can watch the trailer below.
The game puts you in the role of Daniil Dankovsky, a doctor trying to save a city ravaged by plague. You have just 12 days to make tough choices – like whether to quarantine people or force medical treatments – to keep the city alive. But things will go wrong, and uncovering the source of the plague is the key to success.
The demo showcases brand new content, following investigator Dankovsky as he explores Town-on-Gorkhon and meets its inhabitants. It’s a great way to learn the game’s main features and challenging moral choices, and it now includes controller support, which is still being tested.
