PC Game From 2025 Free Less Than 24 Hours via Epic Games Store

A PC game released last year is unexpectedly available for free on the Epic Games Store, but only for the next 24 hours. This isn’t the usual weekly free game offered on Thursdays – those are part of a deal with developers and publishers. This free game, however, is being given away directly by its creator, Apex Game Studios.

Apex Game Studios has released only one game so far: a horror title called Spirit Catcher 93, which came out on November 12, 2025. It hasn’t gotten much attention – currently, it has only four reviews on Steam. However, all four of those reviews are very positive! The game normally costs $15 on Steam, which some might consider a little expensive. But right now, you can get it for free on the Epic Games Store until May 16th at 6:00 pm Eastern Time. Creating an Epic Games Store account is free, just like Steam, so there’s no subscription needed – it’s a completely free game.

Really Creepy Horror Game

This horror game is a terrifying, single-player experience played from a first-person perspective. You’ll find yourself trapped in a disturbing, retro-futuristic digital world, not as a human, but as a broken piece of a forgotten consciousness. Your goal is to escape. Be warned: it’s genuinely scary and deliberately doesn’t offer any help – there are no tutorials or guided instructions, drawing inspiration from older, challenging games.

I recently checked out a new game, and honestly, it totally blew me away! One review I read said it really delivered. Another player mentioned that Spirit Catcher 93′ wasn’t what they were expecting, but in a good way. They were super impressed with how immersive and creepy the visuals were – unlike anything they’d ever seen before.

We don’t know how long it takes to beat the free horror game. There isn’t much information available, and the few player reviews offer widely different completion times – ranging from 2.6 hours to almost 30 hours. The reported playtimes are 2.6, 5.4, 10.7, and 29.8 hours.
