Shout out to Perrie Edwards for being a mom of two.
Perrie Edwards shared the joyful news that she and her fiancé, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Alanis Valentine, with a heartwarming post on social media.
As Perrie captioned the Jan. 17 Instagram post alongside a pink heart emoji, “Alanis Valentine.”
Oh my gosh, this picture is EVERYTHING! It’s Alanis, looking so precious snuggled with her mom, and then Perrie and Alex are right there with her! They all have their hands gently resting on little Axel’s back – he’s four now, can you believe it?! It’s just the most heartwarming, perfect family moment, and I’m officially melting. Seriously, look at how much love is in that one photo!
The couple announced they were expecting a baby in September, after getting engaged in June 2022. They shared the news with a creative Instagram video posted on September 6th. The video featured a shirt with a playful message: the back read, “If He Wanted To He Would…” and when the 32-year-old turned around, the front of the shirt revealed, “…and He Did!” along with her baby bump.
Shortly after, the 32-year-old soccer player came into view with Axel, sharing a warm hug and kiss with Perrie. She captioned the post with a playful, “Guess what, everyone…!”
The happy news was revealed just weeks after the singer shared she had suffered a miscarriage several months after giving birth to her son, Axel, in 2021.
Let me tell you, life moves fast! I found out I was expecting my son, Axel, when he wasn’t even walking yet! It happened while I was rehearsing for the Little Mix tour – I just didn’t feel well, and honestly, I had every symptom you could imagine. That’s when it hit me – I was pregnant! I shared this story on the We Need to Talk podcast back in August 2025, and it still feels so surreal!

Perrie and Alex were overjoyed to learn they were expecting a baby. However, while on tour with her former bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall in April 2022, the singer—who first became known on The X Factor—began to feel unwell.
She remembered constantly bleeding before each performance. It was terrifying, and she feared she was losing the baby.
Although doctors had been telling Perrie her baby was healthy, things changed when she had a scan at 20 weeks.
Honestly, it was the absolute worst day of my life, truly awful. I remember Perrie saying she just knew something wasn’t right during the scan, especially heartbreaking considering she’d been through a miscarriage before little Axel. It was just devastating to hear her talk about it.
She explained she was deeply upset, to the point where she couldn’t drive home after the appointment because she was crying. She added that it’s especially difficult when you’re 24 weeks pregnant, have already made plans for the baby, and envisioned their nursery.

Michelle Yeoh, known for her role in Everything Everywhere All At Once, has spoken about the difficulties she faced when trying to get pregnant with her first husband, Dickson Poon. She married Jean Todt in 2023 after being engaged for 19 years.
As a lifestyle expert, I often talk about the deeply personal journeys we all take, and I recently shared my own experience with trying to start a family. I always dreamed of having children, and when it didn’t happen naturally, I explored fertility treatments. Honestly, the monthly cycle of hope and disappointment was incredibly tough. It’s a really vulnerable time, and it’s easy to feel like you’re failing when things don’t work out as planned.
Honestly, she just gets it. She said, and it totally resonated with me, that eventually you realize it’s not your fault. Like, sometimes your body just… doesn’t work the way it’s ‘supposed’ to, and you have to accept that. It’s about letting go of the guilt and just… moving forward. It was so powerful, I could barely breathe when she said it.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I was just reading about Eve, and it reminded me of something so incredibly sad about Eve’s personal life! She talked about how she lost a baby – it was an ectopic pregnancy, and it happened while she was filming the show! Can you imagine? It just breaks my heart thinking about it, especially knowing she and Max are so amazing with their son, Wilde. It’s just…so sad. I’m obsessed with her and I feel so bad for what she went through.
Let me tell you, back in 2006, finding out I was pregnant was a huge surprise! It actually led to an emergency surgery, and I had to take a couple of weeks off from filming. Looking back, I honestly don’t know why I told everyone it was a burst appendix. I think, deep down, I was even lying to myself about the whole thing!
She explained that if she lost her baby, she wasn’t sure two weeks would be enough time to recover emotionally. As it turned out, even that short time wasn’t quite enough for her body to heal physically, as she quickly had to return to work on set. She’d lost a lot of weight from the surgery and was very weak.

NFL sportscaster Erin Andrews and her husband, Jarret Stoll, became parents to their son, Mack, in July 2023. Their path to parenthood hasn’t always been easy, as they previously faced a challenge when Erin was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2017.
After freezing her eggs as a precaution before fighting cancer, she was able to use IVF to have a child and chose to publicly share her journey.
She explained that she finally felt she needed to speak up about her difficulties, as detailed in a 2021 essay. It had been a deeply challenging and painful experience, to the point where she felt emotionally detached. She described it as feeling like an automaton, stuck on an unjust and unpredictable ride where bad news was far more common than good.
She explained that she’s very open and honest, and wanted to share how difficult the experience was, knowing many other couples and families struggle with the same thing when trying to have a child.
