Atlus, the game developer, recently acknowledged Persona 6 in a survey sent to players, making its development all but confirmed.
The game hasn’t been officially announced yet. While Atlus staff have hinted at it in interviews, there hasn’t been any solid confirmation – until now, perhaps.
Interestingly, Persona 6 was actually brought up as early as 2018 in a survey. However, this was before development started on games like Persona 3 Reload and before anyone knew when Metaphor: ReFantazio might come out.
It’s fair to say that Atlus’ priorities will have shifted quite dramatically since then.
Okay, so a huge fan, Faz, noticed something, and honestly, it feels like a real sign! It’s not just rumor anymore – the studio has officially said the sequel is actually in the works. That’s a big deal for us gamers!
The survey also asked players what Atlus game they were most excited for, and Persona 6 was a popular answer. Other frequently mentioned titles were the newly announced Persona 4 Revival, and possible remakes of classic games like Persona 1 and 2.
While it’s hard to say exactly when Persona 6 will be announced, the release of Persona 4 Revival isn’t expected until after April 2026, according to SEGA’s plans.
Honestly, it’s not a shock, but the dates they gave are super vague. They didn’t say which year, so it could be a while before we actually see it – probably a couple of years, at least. And let’s be real, Persona 6 definitely won’t come out until after the Persona 3 remake is finished.
Okay, Persona fans, let’s talk! I’m already SO hyped for Persona 6, and I’m dying to know what everyone else is hoping for. What kind of story are you dreaming of? What gameplay changes would make it perfect? Let’s start chatting and build some hype together in the comments – think of it like making our first social links!
