A reliable source familiar with Atlus’ plans has shared encouraging news about Persona 6, reassuring fans who’ve been waiting for an update. Atlus has openly acknowledged that Persona 6 is in development since the release of Persona 5 in 2017, but the game hasn’t been officially announced yet, causing some concern. However, recent information suggests the project is progressing well and there’s no need to worry about the lack of news.
A reliable source known as “Nate the Hate” recently shared an encouraging update about Persona 6. They confirmed the game is still in active development, reassuring fans who had begun to worry it might be cancelled. While it’s taken a while for Atlus to officially reveal details, this suggests the delay isn’t due to any problems with the game itself. Fans can be confident that Persona 6 is progressing well and still on track for a future release.

Honestly, I think the reason we’re still waiting for Persona 6 is because Atlus has been busy with a bunch of other stuff lately. Last year they dropped Metaphor: ReFantazio, which was a totally new game for them. Plus, they’ve been working on remaking Persona 3 and Persona 4 (we’re still waiting on Persona 4!). All that means Atlus is probably super stretched thin right now, and Persona 6 just hasn’t been their main focus until recently. It’s a bit frustrating as a fan, but I get that they’ve got a lot on their plate.
Currently, there’s no confirmed release date or platforms announced for Persona 6. Before that, Persona 4 Revival is expected to be the next game in the series to be released, but its launch date is also still unknown.
