Recent leaks may have revealed the main character in the upcoming Persona 6. For years, rumors about the game have spread online, but many turned out to be false, leaving fans unsure about what to expect. Now, ahead of any official announcement, a potentially credible leak has surfaced.
New artwork related to Persona 6 has recently surfaced online, seemingly from an overseas animation studio collaborating with Atlus on the game’s development. The artwork showcases the game’s male protagonist, who has blonde hair and green eyes. Leaks also include art of other characters expected to appear in the game. A ResetEra user named lolilolailo, known for accurately sharing information about upcoming Sega titles, has corroborated the leak’s authenticity.

Beyond the leaked character designs, rumors suggest Persona 6 could be released in 2027. If this is accurate, it would mean two Persona games come out in the same year, as Persona 4 Revival is also anticipated in early 2027. While releasing two games so close together might seem unusual for Atlus, it would follow the pattern they established in 2024 with the releases of Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor: ReFantazio.
The recent leak suggests Atlus might be close to officially announcing Persona 6. Several gaming events are coming up soon – Summer Game Fest, a PlayStation State of Play, and the Xbox Games Showcase – where many new games will be revealed. Atlus has frequently partnered with Xbox for announcements lately, making the Xbox Games Showcase the most probable place to see Persona 6 unveiled.
