Phantom Blade Zero gets a new Special Teaser trailer and a delay to October 29

Phantom Blade Zero’s release date has been pushed back. Following the June 2025 State of Play, S-Game announced on social media that the game will now launch on October 29th, instead of the previously planned date of September 9th.

As you may have seen in today’s State of Play, pre-orders for Phantom Blade Zero will begin this summer! We also wanted to let you know that the game will now release on October 29, 2026, which is a slight change from the original release date of September 9th.

So, during the June 2025 State of Play, they dropped a new trailer for Phantom Blade Zero! It was a special teaser, about a minute long, and honestly, it was wild. The main character is battling enemies while carrying a baby – yeah, you read that right! It definitely grabbed my attention.

This summer, S-Game will release the complete trailer for Phantom Blade Zero and begin taking pre-orders. Sony Interactive Entertainment also announced that the game will be showcased again during a future State of Play event planned for late summer. This segment will offer a detailed look at the game’s story and how it plays.

The Special Teaser trailer is now available on YouTube below. Phantom Blade Zero will be released on PlayStation 5, as well as on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Phantom Blade Zero is a fast-action RPG featuring realistic kungfu, and this is just a first look at what’s coming next for the game.
