GFA Games has launched the open beta for PIONER on PC, giving players a week – until November 11th – to try it out. Players can access the beta through Steam and explore Tartarus Island before the game officially releases in late 2025.
The studio is offering a substantial amount of content for this test, including a five-part story campaign, the “Manufacture” raid, and a practice raid called “Crash Site.” Players can also participate in three global quests – one of which features a world boss – as well as PvP Deathmatch and the Carnage tournament. Carnage is a tactical card game within the game that includes ranked matches and rewards. This test phase offers around 30 hours of gameplay, but all progress will be reset when the beta is over.
The game developers recently hinted at adjustments to the release schedule, shifting from an October goal to a November 4th launch. They’ve been guiding players to the app page to access the latest test version.
In short, this isn’t just a typical game launch. PIONER is giving players a substantial preview of its MMOFPS gameplay. If the raids are successful and the story resonates with players, GFA Games could leave beta testing with strong positive feedback already spreading.
