Playmates Toys is starting this year’s Toy Fair with exciting news for fans of the popular book series, Dungeon Crawler Carl. Playmates Toys, working with Borant Corporation, is creating a line of toys and collectibles based on the series, and we’re giving you an exclusive first look! It’s no surprise that Princess Donut is already the standout star of the collection.
Playmates Toys is launching a new line called Dungeon Crawler Carl that will turn popular characters from the series into collectible toys. The line will include several different types of collectibles, like small Crawlers, detailed Statues, surprise-filled Loot Boxes, and soft Princess Donut Plushies. Official Trading Cards will also be available. While we haven’t seen the Princess Donut Plush yet, the Loot Boxes will contain fun, mystery figures of Princess Donut.
Dungeon Crawler Carl Is About To Take Over The Toy Aisle
The Dungeon Crawler Carl series centers around Carl and his ex-girlfriend’s cat, Princess Donut, as they navigate an alien invasion of Earth. The invasion unfolds as a reality TV show where survivors must complete a dangerous 18-level dungeon to survive.
The new product lines will offer detailed action figures and dynamic statues, alongside the popular mystery-box Princess Donut collectibles. The Collectible Crawlers stand out with their bright colors and fun expressions, but the magnetic Princess Donut perched on Carl’s shoulder is the real highlight.
Collectible figures based on the books will be available later this year. The first ones will be shown at San Diego Comic-Con this summer and will be in stores by fall 2026.
The Highlight Statues capture the exciting scenes from the books, and each one beautifully showcases a character’s personality and key story moments in a compact form. I especially enjoy the Murder Dozer and the Goblins, but the scene with Princess Donut and Mordecai’s mother’s ashes is particularly memorable. You’ll find a detailed look at each statue below.
I’m so excited about the new Dungeon Crawler figures! They’re 6-inch collectibles and the detail is incredible – you can really pose them any way you want. What’s even cooler is that each one comes with extra hands and heads, plus unique accessories. The first set features Mordecai, Prepotente, Carl, and Princess Donut, and it’s adorable – Princess Donut actually sits on Carl’s shoulder thanks to a little magnet! It’s a fantastic touch.
Dungeon Crawler fans can now collect blind-boxed statues recreating memorable scenes from the early days of the Carl series. These statues depict iconic moments like Carl and Donut escaping an explosion, Goblins being melted by their own Murder Dozer, Donut’s disrespectful act with Mordecai’s mother’s ashes, and Donut joyriding on Mongo while riding over a Mantaur arm – much to Mongo’s dismay!
Dungeon Crawler: World Earth Loot Boxes contain collectible Princess Donut figures and accessories. Each box is a surprise purchase, holding one figure and between one and four related items. These items come in different rarities – bronze, silver, and gold.
The Princess Donut plush toy will be available in both 8-inch and 12-inch sizes, and both versions will come with many of her most recognizable accessories.
Dungeon Crawler: World Earth Trading Cards are the first official trading cards based on the game. The decks feature characters and creatures from the game, including crawlers, non-player characters, monsters, and employees of the Borant Corporation. Some cards are ultra-rare and may be sketches, signed, or foil versions.
The Dungeon Crawler Carl toyines will start hitting stores this fall.
