The free PlayStation Plus games for February 2026 are starting to be revealed, and one title has already leaked online. While the source is trustworthy, the game itself has some fans worried about the overall quality of the February lineup.
A Reddit user recently shared a leak from a well-known source, billbil-kun, revealing one of the main games offered in February’s PS Plus Essentials lineup. The game is Undisputed, a boxing title released in 2023 that received generally mixed reviews and continues to get negative feedback. As you can imagine, PS Plus subscribers weren’t thrilled with this news.
PlayStation Plus Gamers Aren’t Loving This Leak
One player expressed disappointment about the quality of games in 2026, sharing the Metacritic scores for Undisputed. Critics gave the game a mixed review, with a score of 70, while users rated it poorly with a 4.8 out of 10. On Steam, the game has a mixed rating of 3.2 out of 5.
Given that this game is supposedly the main attraction for February 2026, it doesn’t inspire much confidence about the other two games coming out next month. One Reddit user wrote, “Hopefully the other two games are better.” Another pointed out that sometimes the featured game isn’t the best one, and a different game in the lineup actually stands out as the best.
And while it seems like the majority of people are disappointed with Undisputed, many are at least somewhat content with looking ahead. “Surely March will be better,” reads another comment. Perhaps illustrating just how divisive 2026 has been for PS Plus so far, the reply under this simply states, “At this point, I doubt it.”
It’s A Divisive Start To 2026 For PS Plus
The free games offered in January were okay – Epic Mickey Rebrushed was a solid platformer and Need for Speed Unbound offered a somewhat uneven racing experience – but many subscribers were still let down. As for February, while we don’t know the full lineup yet, Undisputed isn’t exactly a strong start.
Despite the criticism, some people still enjoy the game. One Reddit user commented, “I bought it last year and if you like boxing, you’ll probably have fun. I’d give it a 7.5 out of 10. I had a good time playing and think it’s a good value for PlayStation Plus subscribers.” So, it might be worth checking out for yourself. If the rumors are true, we’ll all have a chance to play Undisputed when it’s added to PlayStation Plus next month.
