PlayStation Plus Subscribers Are Losing 4 Games in January 2026

PlayStation Plus members should be aware that four games will be removed from the service in January 2026. Sony recently announced these departures as part of updating the PS Plus Game Catalog. While fewer games are leaving than usual, the list includes some popular titles that subscribers might want to play before they’re gone.

Hey everyone, just a heads-up from my PS5 – the PS Plus “Last Chance to Play” section got updated. It tells you which games are leaving the service next month. Usually, Sony pulls a bunch of games at once, but this time it’s only four. The biggest one, for me anyway, is Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Sayonara Wild Hearts is leaving too, which is a bummer. We’ve got until January 20th to play them while they’re still included with our subscription, otherwise we’ll have to buy them if we want to keep playing!

Here’s the full lineup of games leaving PlayStation Plus in January:

  • Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
  • SD Gundam Battle Alliance
  • Sayonara Wild Hearts
  • Monopoly Plus

New Additions to PS Plus

It’s always disappointing when games leave PlayStation Plus, but the new games added in December 2025 are a bright spot. PS Plus Extra and Premium members can now download titles like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and Planet Coaster 2, among others. Premium subscribers also get access to the classic PS2 fighting game SoulCalibur 3, which has been added to the Classics library.

Sony hasn’t announced the new games coming to PS Plus in January 2026 yet. We expect to learn more around the end of December, so stay tuned to ComicBook for updates!
