PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium are getting new games next week, but Sony is announcing them later than usual. They typically reveal the monthly lineup around midday on the second Wednesday of each month, and today was that day. However, the announcement didn’t happen as expected, though it appears there’s a good reason for the delay.
Just a reminder that PlayStation’s first State of Play of 2026 is happening tomorrow, February 12th. It’s going to be the longest one yet, lasting over an hour! While PlayStation hasn’t revealed what they’ll be showing, we’re almost certain to finally find out which games are coming to PS Plus.

PlayStation has previously used its State of Play presentations to hint at upcoming PlayStation Plus games, but usually doesn’t reveal the complete list during the event. Instead, they announce games that will be added to PS Plus in the following months. We might see this happen again tomorrow, alongside a full reveal of the games coming to the Game Catalog in February.
Okay, so I’ve been hearing some good news for PlayStation Plus subscribers! Apparently, next week we’re getting three new games. The biggest one, and honestly the one everyone’s been waiting for, is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It came out last year and was a huge deal, one of the best reasons to own a PS5. Plus, they’re adding Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown and a game called Neva to the Game Catalog too. Not bad, right?
The new PS Plus games will be available starting next Tuesday, February 17th. On that same day, PlayStation will remove eight games from the service, including Rez Infinite, Cult of the Lamb, Saga Frontier: Remastered, and WWE 2K25. If you want to play these games before they’re gone, you have less than a week to do so.
