The latest update for the Pocket version of the Pokémon Trading Card Game is now active, introducing significant modifications to its in-game trade mechanism. A notable perk from this update is the increased worth of Trade Tokens, which players can swap for complimentary Pack Hourglasses. In their generosity, DeNA and The Pokémon Company have distributed a substantial number of Trade Tokens at no cost, ensuring that existing players have ample reserves to utilize. Newcomers are also provided with Trade Tokens prior to updating the game, giving them an opportunity to start building their stockpile as well.
After the recent upgrade, users of the Pokemon TCG Pocket game can now swap Trade Tokens for Pack Hourglasses. Each Token exchanged yields one Hourglass, but players are limited to obtaining a maximum of 60 Hourglasses through this method. This allows them to buy an extra five booster packs, which is quite convenient since the Wisdom of Sea and Sky booster set drops on July 30th.
As a gamer, I’ve just discovered an exciting new feature in the in-game store of Pokemon TCG Pocket! In the Limited Time/Events tab, you’ll find the Other section where Trade Tokens can be exchanged for Pack Hourglasses and Shine Dust. With this recent update, Shine Dust is now the currency for trading, so it’s definitely worth collecting from now on!

On the 5th of January, players were gifted 1,000 Trade Tokens without charge. These tokens can be utilized for trading Pack Hourglasses. Additionally, before updating the game, players could swap cards with a rating of three diamonds or more in exchange for Trade Tokens. However, to trade these cards successfully, you must possess at least three identical copies.
Anticipation has built up for quite some time regarding the upcoming trading update for the Pokemon TCG Pocket. The wishlist feature, a highly sought-after request, will streamline the process of acquiring desired cards and completing your collections. Although the Wisdom of Sea and Sky booster set won’t be immediately tradeable, other limitations on tradeable cards are expected to be eased.
