Okay, so Sony just dropped the list of games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium for November, and I’m checking to see if these tiers are really worth the money. I’m gonna dive in and see if the extra cost feels justified this month.
It’s a bit strange to begin with Grand Theft Auto 5 as the main attraction on Extra. It’s hard to believe there are still people who haven’t experienced the most financially successful entertainment product ever made.
But hey, maybe you haven’t played it on PS5 specifically. In which case, go nuts!
Extra doesn’t have a huge library beyond that, but it does include some surprisingly well-regarded and unusual shows and movies.
Games like Pacific Drive offer a captivating experience, letting you investigate strange events while driving a car you can heavily modify. On the other hand, Still Wakes the Deep is a visually impressive horror game taking place on a North Sea oil rig.
There’s definitely a good mix of shows, particularly with the incredibly funny “Thank Goodness You’re Here!”. We really suggest watching it all at once to fully enjoy its uniquely British humor.
The Premium tier continues to offer subscribers a single game, and this month it’s Tomb Raider: Anniversary, originally a PlayStation 2 title. While it might not be considered a true classic, it should bring back fond memories for many players.
