Now that Battlefield 6 has been out for a few weekends, what are people’s initial thoughts? Does it represent a much-needed improvement for the series, or is the hype surrounding it a bit much?
The game has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both critics and players. As of today, it boasts over 50,000 user reviews on Steam, with a ‘Very Positive’ overall rating – a fantastic achievement for such a popular series.
Battlefield 6 was a huge commercial success, selling over 7 million copies in its first three days – a truly remarkable achievement!
But does it really deserve all the hype? We thought so! Our review of Battlefield 6 on PS5 gave it a strong 8 out of 10, and we called it the best Battlefield game in more than ten years.
Honestly, it wasn’t amazing overall, but the multiplayer totally hooked me – the story mode just didn’t do it for me, though.
As a huge Battlefield fan, I have to say that Battlefield 6 is just incredible. It really pulls you in with its intense action, amazing sound, and that epic, cinematic feel we all fell in love with in the first place. The gunplay is so tight, and everything just *feels* right.
