In a groundbreaking move, the DC Universe is expanding its rebooted cinematic universe by bringing on board another alumnus from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This growth will be spearheaded by an exciting action series, slated to revolutionize the genre. The project, originating from DC Studios, plans to recast a member of the “Birds of Prey” and headline a fresh narrative, under the guidance of a renowned action movie director.
Based on reports from Nexus Point News, DC Studios is considering Pom Klementieff for a lead role in an upcoming Korean television production. This potential series will feature Pom as Huntress, also known as Helena Bertinelli, a character who is half-Korean and half-Italian. The series is being penned and directed by Jung Byung-gil, known for his work on “Villainess”. It’s said that this rumored “Huntress” series is one of several international projects in development at DC Studios. In the DCEU, Mary Elizabeth Winstead portrayed the role of Huntress in the 2020 film “Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)”.
More to come.
