The Power Rangers series is known for its villains, and a few of those evil Rangers have become particularly memorable. While some eventually switch sides and help the good guys, others remain villains throughout. Now, a new evil Ranger has been introduced, and this one is connected to a famously strong and recognizable team.
A new villain is coming to the Power Rangers universe! The latest issue of Power Rangers Unlimited (#2) will introduce the White Psycho Ranger, a fresh addition to the already iconic Psycho Rangers. Penguin Random House recently revealed the character’s design, which you can see below.
The Psycho Rangers Are Some of Power Rangers’ Deadliest Foes
The Psycho Rangers first appeared in Power Rangers In Space. They were created by Astronema as evil copies of each of the Power Rangers. Each Psycho Ranger was designed to fight a specific Ranger using a matching but opposing fighting style, and they could also transform into powerful monster forms, making them incredibly dangerous.
The Power Rangers didn’t face a truly dangerous villain until Psycho Pink appeared in Lost Galaxy. As the last remaining Psycho Ranger, she wasn’t just a powerful opponent – she actually fought both the Astro and Galaxy Megazords and was directly responsible for the death of Kendrix, the Pink Ranger from Lost Galaxy. This was a first for the show, as no Power Ranger had ever been killed by a villain before.
The White Psycho Ranger is the latest addition to the team, but not the first from the comic books. Previously, the Green Psycho Ranger was introduced. Psycho Green was even more dangerous than Psycho Pink; he turned against his teammates and killed them all by planting explosives. He then revealed his betrayal to the Red Ranger, Ace, and attacked him, demonstrating a level of deadliness equal to the other Psycho Rangers.
Power Rangers Unlimited #2 releases in comic stores on August 12, 2026.
