I told Matt while we were driving, ‘Look at me. I need you to be as focused and serious as I am. We’re going into full professional mode – not just business casual, but truly professional.’ He basically said, ‘Okay, whatever you want,’ and I responded, ‘This is going to be focused, serious, and efficient.’
Although she was glad people didn’t start rumors about her being pregnant, her and Kaplan’s public appearance still led to some speculation.

She said it’s heartbreaking and unbelievable how much drama there is in the industry. She and Matt often find themselves thinking, ‘None of our friends or family are concerned with these kinds of issues.’
You know, it’s really strange seeing headlines claiming my relationship is in trouble online. Honestly, it’s a bit of a shock when you suddenly see ‘we’re on the rocks’ and you’re left thinking, ‘Wait, is that true? What’s everyone talking about?’ It’s definitely one of the more unsettling parts of being in the public eye, and not something I particularly enjoy dealing with.
She stressed, “No one needs to worry. Matt and I are great.”

Cooper explained he wished he could have simply announced the birth of his baby. However, his work requires him to be visible, either on television or at public appearances, making a quiet announcement difficult.
She had hoped to announce her pregnancy in August or September, but things didn’t go as planned. On the day of the YouTube event, the outfit she’d chosen no longer fit.
Cooper remembered struggling to keep her shapewear in place, saying it was pulled up so tightly it was uncomfortable. They were running late, and she was desperately trying to hold everything in as they rushed out the door.
She said she began to breathe very rapidly, describing the experience as a complete emotional collapse.
Despite the stress of the event, Cooper proudly showed off her baby bump when she announced her pregnancy just a few days after.
On May 17th, she shared a series of photos on Instagram showing her baby bump and a sweet picture with Kaplan, captioning it simply, “Our family.”
