Aubrey Plaza is strolling into a new chapter.
Just one day after news broke that she’s expecting her first child with Christopher Abbott, the former Parks and Recreation star was seen showing off her baby bump on a walk in New York City on April 8th.
Aubrey stepped out for a walk with her dog, wearing gray joggers and a brown sweatshirt. She completed her outfit with New Balance sneakers, a navy coat, and sunglasses.
Aubrey and Chris are expecting a baby, and this is the first time they’ve publicly confirmed they are in a relationship. The couple previously collaborated on the film Black Bear in 2020 and an off-Broadway play, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, but hadn’t spoken about their romance until now.

Aubrey recently shared on Amy Poehler’s podcast, Good Hang, that she feels thankful for life, but admits it’s a daily challenge to stay positive.
As a huge fan of Aubrey Plaza, I was really moved by what she shared about dealing with loss. She described her grief as being like the movie The Gorge – a vast, overwhelming feeling of sadness that she knows will always be a part of her. It’s a powerful way to express something so deeply personal, and it really resonated with me.
She said she could see it clearly. Sometimes she felt completely drawn to it, wanting to immerse herself within it. Other times, she simply observed it, or even tried to distance herself. But no matter what, it remained present in her life.
Aubrey and Chris haven’t said much about their new relationship, but Aubrey did reveal last year that they enjoy playfully surprising each other during performances.
We perform this show constantly – eight times a week, to be exact,” she explained to Vogue. “It’s important to us to keep things exciting, both for ourselves and the audience, and to make sure we’re still enjoying the performances and staying connected to the material.”
