The Predator series gained new momentum with the surprise release of Prey in 2022. Director Trachtenberg has been key to this resurgence, having created Prey, Killer of Killers, and Predator: Badlands. These projects have significantly boosted the franchise’s popularity with both audiences and critics.
I’ve been absolutely blown away by the last three installments! Prey scored a fantastic 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, and Killer of Killers even topped that with 95%! It’s no surprise everyone, myself included, is desperate for director Trachtenberg to keep going with the series, especially after that shocking ending – it left us all wanting more!
