Prime Video has become a go-to streaming service for action lovers, with popular shows like Reacher, Invincible, The Boys, Fallout, and Citadel. But one series consistently stands out: The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, a prequel to the hit show The Terminal List. Its creator even describes it as intentionally going against current trends, and it continues to be a big success for the platform.
Since its release in August, fans haven’t stopped re-watching Dark Wolf, the latest installment in Jack Carr’s action thriller series. It’s been a hit on Prime Video, staying in the Top 10 since August 27th. As of today, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf has been in the top ten for 84 days and is currently ranked at number 10.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf takes place seven years before the events of the original The Terminal List series. Stars Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt reprise their roles in this prequel, which centers on Kitsch’s character, Ben Edwards, as he transitions from the Navy SEALs to the CIA. The cast also includes Tom Hopper, Luke Hemsworth, Dar Salim, Robert Wisdom, and Rona-Lee Shim’on. Created by Jack Carr and executive produced by Antoine Fuqua (known for Training Day), the story begins with:
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf tells the story of how Ben Edwards became who he is, starting with his time as a Navy SEAL and continuing into his work as a covert operative for the CIA. It’s a thrilling spy story that delves into the grim realities of war and the sacrifices people make.
Season 2 of ‘Dark Wolf’ Is on the Way

Prime Video
As a big fan of action thrillers, I was really impressed with The Terminal List: Dark Wolf on Prime Video. While the first Terminal List series had a mixed reception, this prequel really won people over – both critics and viewers! I checked Rotten Tomatoes, and it’s doing really well, with critics giving it a 75% score, but audiences seem to love it even more, at 80%.
After a successful first season and strong viewership, it was no surprise that The Terminal List: Dark Wolf was renewed for a second season. The announcement came quickly after Season 1 aired, along with news of another prequel series. Now that Season 2 is being developed, fans are eager for details, and star Taylor Kitsch has offered a glimpse of what’s to come.
We’re exploring the more challenging aspects of the story. I’m really pleased with how things ended, as it allows us to delve into Ben’s darker side in season 2. This will help explain his actions in The Terminal List season 1 and the choices he makes. I’m very enthusiastic about what’s coming.
Beyond its exciting action sequences, Season 2 of Dark Wolf is expected to maintain the show’s stance against what it calls “woke” culture. This approach originated with comments made by Jack Carr, the writer and showrunner, during interviews for The Terminal List, when he stated:
It’s not about being ‘woke’ or ‘anti-woke‘; it’s simply that the content doesn’t push a specific agenda. Because of this, some critics are likely to dislike it.
